Echo Race guide
How to Play Echo Race
Echo Race is a replay of today’s Daily Rush board against your own saved performance. Beat the pace you set earlier, rather than a live player.
Play Echo RaceFinish Daily Rush first
- Complete a Daily Rush run for today in this browser. Echo Race reads the saved result from browser storage.
- If there is no saved result for today’s challenge, Echo Race cannot start and asks you to finish Daily Rush first.
- You do not need an account, a multiplayer room, or a friend’s challenge link. The saved echo is local to this browser.
Replay the same board
Echo Race uses the same daily board, dictionary, 4×4 grid, 3-letter minimum, and 60-second clock as Daily Rush. Trace adjacent tiles, including diagonals, without reusing a tile in a word; accepted words score their length squared and duplicates are rejected.
Your saved echo contains your earlier score, timing checkpoints, and found words. During the replay, the pace display shows the score your echo had reached at that point in the clock. The board and rules are reused, but the earlier run is not submitted again and no Daily Rush play is consumed.
When the race ends
The race ends when the 60-second timer reaches zero. You can also choose End Round early. Results tell you whether you beat the echo and compare the words you shared, added, or missed.
Race this echo again retries against the same saved baseline. Only a later Daily Rush run updates the baseline; an Echo Race never overwrites the echo it is racing.
Solo-only replay
Echo Race has no live multiplayer mode and no friend-share result flow. It is a local comparison layered over the Daily Rush board, so another player’s score cannot change the pace you see.
