How to Play Co-op
Co-op is the multiplayer team round: one board, one clock, one shared word list, and one score for everyone in the room.
Play Co-opStart a co-op round
- Open Play with friends, then create or join a multiplayer room.
- The host chooses Co-op from the room’s first-game list and starts the round.
- Co-op has no solo version; it needs an active multiplayer room.
One board, one word list
Everyone shares a 4×4 board and a 2-minute clock. Trace a word by moving to adjacent tiles, including diagonals, without reusing a tile. Words must be at least 3 letters long and come from the active Wordrush dictionary.
The found-word list is shared too. In standard competitive multiplayer each player keeps a personal list, but in Co-op a word accepted by any teammate is used up for the whole team, so a repeat submission is rejected as a duplicate.
Shared scoring
Accepted words score their length squared, exactly like normal play, but the points go to a single team total. Every teammate’s live score shows the same team number, and the results screen reports one shared score for the room.
When the round ends
The round ends when the shared 2-minute timer reaches zero, or the host can end it early. There is no winner between teammates; the room finishes with one combined score.
